UF SPRING 2020 COMMENCEMENT RESCHEDULED

Following the State University System’s announcement that on-campus commencement ceremonies will not be held at Florida public universities in May SUS Memo, UF has rescheduled its spring 2020 commencement weekend for the weekend of July 31-August 2 for students graduating with a bachelor’s, master’s or specialist’s degree.

Graduating doctoral candidates are invited to participate in our summer doctoral commencement ceremony scheduled for Friday, August 7 at 2 p.m.

Guests are welcome to attend all of these ceremonies, and tickets will not be required.

As always, participation in graduation weekend ceremonies is voluntary and does not affect a student’s graduation status or their degree. Diplomas will be mailed to graduates’ permanent addresses about eight weeks after grades are finalized.

BACHELOR’S, MASTER’S AND SPECIALIST’S CANDIDATES: If you have already purchased regalia, you will receive an email on Friday, March 20 from cap-gown@ufl.edu with information about either receiving your regalia by mail OR receiving a refund on your order. If you intend on returning for the make-up weekend, please DO NOT RETURN your regalia, you will need it for our weekend.

More information about college ceremony dates and times for the July 31-August 2 weekend will be available soon. Please visit the FAQs page for any questions you may have.
