Spring 2020

Spring graduates are invited to attend two ceremonies. They may attend the University-wide ceremony, where there will be an invited commencement speaker and degrees conferred (the tassels moved from one side to the next). Graduates may also attend their individual college’s recognition ceremony, in which every student will have their name called as they cross the stage and a photo taken of them.

University-wide Commencement

Friday, May 1,  7:00 – 9:00 PM, Ben Hill Griffin Stadium

All bachelor’s and master’s degrees will be conferred at this ceremony. Individual degree candidates will not be recognized at this ceremony, that will occur at the individual college Recognition Ceremonies. For more information the University-wide Commencement, visit the UF Commencement website.

We look forward to celebrating the college’s spring graduates in May. In an effort to accommodate guests at the Recognition Ceremonies without having to ticket these events, we kindly ask that our graduates be mindful of the number of family and friends they invite. To stay within the O’Connell Center’s seating capacity, we strongly recommend no more than 10 guests per graduate to attend.
